I wanted this one to feel like flowers that have simply become part of the room. Not a perfect bouquet, just a vase sitting on a table, a few stems starting to fall, and that warm evening light catching one side of it.
 
I think there is something really comforting about having flowers around at home. You stop actively noticing them after a while, but they still change how the space feels. This painting came from wanting to hold onto that very ordinary kind of beauty before the flowers eventually disappear.
