A Little Piece of Home

I painted this while living in Canada, but the scene is unmistakably Indian, the auto rickshaw, the old buildings, the narrow street, and that slightly chaotic everyday feeling I grew up around.

A lot of my work now naturally sits somewhere between India and Canada. Painting scenes like this here feels like a small way of bridging that distance and bringing pieces of home into the life I have built somewhere else.

I kept this one loose and almost memory-like, focusing more on the colours and feeling of an Indian street than making every detail perfect.
