This piece came together from a simple idea, a boat left behind after the tide pulled back. I liked the feeling of pause in the composition, like everything is still and waiting. The loose brushstrokes and soft horizon keep it quiet and grounded. It’s less about the boat and more about that in-between moment, not moving, not drifting, just still.
