I painted this one quickly, trying to capture that last burst of light before the sky cools down. The yellow clouds felt like they were just starting to fade, and I liked how the blue boat sat quietly in all that colour. It’s a calm piece, more about mood than detail, the kind of evening where everything softens, and time slows a little.
