This painting was inspired by a quiet moment in nature, two ducks moving gently through the water, half-hidden by bright green leaves and reflections. I was drawn to the intimacy of the scene and the way it felt both calm and full of life at the same time. The bold blues, greens, and touches of pink allowed me to capture not just the subject itself, but the energy and movement of the water around them.

I painted this piece as a reflection on companionship, softness, and the beauty of small everyday moments that often go unnoticed. There is something very peaceful about watching animals exist so naturally in their environment, and I wanted this work to hold that feeling of stillness, closeness, and quiet connection.
