I painted this because matcha cake feels like one of those small treats that can turn an ordinary day into something a little nicer. I loved the bright green against the berries, but I also liked how calm the whole scene felt.
 
For me, this piece is about those simple moments of enjoyment that are easy to overlook. Nothing life changing, just good food, a quiet afternoon, and a reason to slow down for a bit.
