This painting takes the coldness of a Canadian winter and turns it into something crowded, warm, and playful. A whole group of snowmen gathers beneath the trees, each with its own little expression, hat, scarf, and personality.

I wanted the scene to feel almost like a winter gathering, slightly chaotic, colourful, and full of life. The glowing lantern, deep evergreens, soft snow, and bundled up figures bring warmth into a landscape that would otherwise feel freezing. It is my playful take on the Canadian winters that became such a memorable part of my time here.
