I love painting fruits, it's an incredible reflection of our day to day life and also because they are simple, colourful, and just fun to look at. This piece started as a small study where I could play around with colour, texture, and loose brushstrokes without overthinking it.
I also really love having little fruit paintings in the kitchen, so this was partly me making something I would want to hang in my own space. Bright, casual, and a little imperfect just two strawberries being strawberries.
