There are moments in life when staying still feels harder than moving forward, even when you do not entirely know where you are going. I painted this horse around that feeling. The rearing figure feels powerful, restless and almost impossible to contain, surrounded by a background that seems to move with it.
Unbridled is about independence, instinct and choosing movement over fear. To me, the white horse represents that part of us that wants to remain free, while the intense reds and oranges carry all the uncertainty, excitement and chaos that can come with stepping into something new. It is less about arriving somewhere and more about having the courage to move at all.
