Aquarius has always felt a little contradictory to me. Independent and hard to pin down, but also deeply thoughtful and connected to the world around them.
I painted that feeling through the cold water, open landscape, and the figure moving through it alone. There is something freeing about it, almost like choosing your own direction even when no one else really understands where you are going.
To me, this painting is about that Aquarius need for freedom, individuality, and space to exist exactly as they are.
